Condition tables

If in a access sequence if three condition tables are there. And in that if for all i have maintained condition records which one it will take into consideration.

Hi,

The system will go through all the tables.

Depending on how the access sequence is set-up with exclusive indicator, the system will fetch the values.

For example, if the first row is set with this indicator, and if there is a value for this table, the system fetch this value and it will not go to the next table in the sequence.

If there is no exclusive indicator is set at any tables, then the system will pull the last record as it goes to the third row also.

If three condition tables are there and if no exclusive indicator is set all three records will be displayed by the system and the last one that is third one will be taken for calculation

You can see that by the active record third one in green indicator and the previous two records with yellow indicator with a note that these two are not considered because of the subsequent record

Hi

There is every chance that all the three condition tables may have valid condition records. That is the reason why while arranging the tables we are supposed to follow 'most specific to most general' policy and also using the exclusion indicator functionality.

The system searches for the valid condition record in the first access(first table) and it has a valid record and if the exclusion indicator is set, then it stops searching and determines that record in the order. If the exclusion indicator is not set, then it continues to search in the next access also.
