Smartform page orientation incorrect

Former Member

Hi

I have a 3 page smartform, all set up as DINA4 Landscape. The first two pages print duplex and then the third page can repeat and prints simplex. When I view the spool request in SAP all the pages look right, but when I output to the printer the first and second page are duplex and landscape (correct) but the third gets printed in portrait. I suspect something to do with the actual printer print controls but I'm not sure. Any ideas/advice?

Regards

Glenn

Hi

Check the print mode in your smartform i.e

For Each Page->Outputoptions>Printmode.

Glenn,

if your print preview is coming correct and the print out wrong, then you gotta sor this out with your basis team , they are the one to help you. Talk to em once.

Hi

The problem hasn't gone yet but it does seem to be caused by the device driver. When I print using LOCL the orientation on the last page goes wrong. But when I print using the defined printer device type in SAP (same printer, different driver) the orientation is correct but the fonts, etc go all pear shaped.

Basis are currently testing out a few different drivers.
