convert the field from display to change mode

Hi All

can any body tell me how i can make a field to change mode from display mode.

i want a field in T code VL01N / VL02N to be in change made rather than display mode(standard SAP).

please suggest me if there are any userexits for the same

You need to ask SAP for the access key o change the screen setting in the screen program. For this you need to explain to SAP why you want to change the standard and only then SAP will give you the Access key. Without this its difficult. Another way is to take the screen program and make a copy of it and then assign it to the screen number and bypass the standard program. This I am told can be done without the access key. Check it out with your ABAP programmers hether it is possible.
