Hi,
I am in the process of configuring Java Development Infrastructure with the development scenario "Development with a Track".
As mentioned in the Step "Creating Users and Assigning Groups" I have created <i>USER1, USER2, CMSadm</i> assigned them the role <i>NWDI.Developers</i>. I also assigned <i>CMSadm, Admin</i> with <i>NWDI.Administrator</i> role.
I created a domain and tracks associated with it.
Also did the "Checking In and Importing Required SCs" step.
The next step is in the Netweaver Developer Studio.
I have setup the right URL under
Windows -> Preferences -> Java Development Infrastructure, Development Configurations http://labnw:50000. The ping test here is successful.
In the process of "Importing a development configuration from the SLD", in the studio, when I import the configuration with the remote option, with "user1" or "user2", which is one of the users I created in User Management and assigned the Developer role, I get the error message
"Landscape Directory labnw:50000 HTTP response code: 406 Not Acceptable (password change required)".
Does anybody know what I have to do to solve this problem
Your help is highly appreciated.
Regards
Sumit.
I think these couple of additional points that might give additional information regarding this error.
In the development configurations perspective, in the studio, When I logon with either user1 or user2 I get the message
"Landscape Directory labnw:50000 HTTP response code: 406 Not Acceptable (password change required)"
and when I import the development configuration with the remote option, I get the error
"Landscape Directory labnw:50000 HTTP response code: 406 Not Acceptable (password change required)".
Any help please.
Kind Regards
Sumit.

Hi,
"Landscape Directory labnw:50000 HTTP response code: 406 Not Acceptable (password change required)"
means that you have to change the initial password first.
Log into the Java WebAS with each user.
Each time you will be prompted to enter a new password.
You might "reuse" the old password if you really want....
Try then again to create the track...
Thanks, Kai
