transaction used not in logging

Hi,

Is it possible that a transaction called by an other transaction is not registered in the log files? I got the impression that if the called transaction is not in SE97 or is there not marked as to check, it is not in the logging as a transaction started.

Have fun

Bye Jan van Roest

SE97 does not show all called transaction codes so I would not rely upon it fully.

Hi,

I forgot to mention that it is a SAP R/3 4.6c system.

Which log are you referring to?

If it's the security audit log: In older releases it showed up as a failed transaction start .

This was corrected and is now a successfull transaction start - which is what it is...

Additionally, an entry is written to the developer trace.

Cheers,

It will show all "okay" transaction codes if you use function module AUTHORITY_CHECK_TCODE, but unfortunately that is not consistently the case.
