how to archive the equipment master data?

Hi,

First you must set the deletion flag on the equipment record through transaction IE02

(Equipment - Functions - Deletion flag - Set)

Then to archive equipment records use transaction SARA with object PM_EQUI.

If the equipment is still referenced in some object (Order, notification, etc) then it will not be possible to archive.

but, when i want to archive many equipment master data, i need to set the delete flags in the IE02 one by one?

Hello,

You could use IE05 to generate a list of equipments based on some selection criteria. Then on the output list select one or several equipments that you want to archive. Choose menu option 'Goto - Functions - Deletion flag - Set'. This will set the deletion flag on the selected equipments.

Hi Jessie, try archiving object PM_EQUI (transaction SARA), the execution has constraints such as the equipment used yet, you should run the process on a preliminary basis to check the log.
