What do you mean by:
It does not happen when we use the portal with port no. (:58000/irj/portal).
Which portal with port no do you use otherwise ? Are you talking about two different portal installations ?
If both installations are on the same host, the port will be of importance in the sense of to which portal you log on to as it stands for 5<instance no>00
