Hi
I have read several postings on setting up email notification for Service Desk, specifically for message creation/updates. However, i have not seen anything specific on SLFI (Issues Management).
We want to enable email notification for Issues Management. That is, when a new Issue is created and assigned, an email should go out automatically to the assigned person.
For instance, i have seen people suggest using Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED for SLFN messages, but what do i use for SLFI?
Also, what is External Number Ranges for?
Please advise. We are at a limbo. We have setup Org. Hierarchy and also integrated that with Business Partners but emails are not being sent. So suggest what i should look into.

My advice would be to consider taking the details of an email action within the Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED and use it as a template to create your own custom action in SLFI_ACTION_PROFILE.
