Beneficiary with different Medical Plans

Hi Guru -

We have a request in Benefits for 2009 to configure a new retiree medical plan but allow the beneficiaries to select different medical plans. If anyone can tell me if we can configure one medical plan that will allow the dependents to select a different medical plan that will be most helpful.

Hi Donna,

Are you planning to set up beneficiaries in the system? Coz if you want to allow them to select the plan, you will need to set them up.

Yes - all beneficiaries and dependent are set up. The requirement is to let the employee select the plan that he is eligible but the dependent may or maynot be eligible for that plan but another plan. Can that be configure in the system and if so how?
