Transport of DB connect datasource....

Hi,

I am transporting the DB connect datasource , but I am getting the error ," source system not present".

Can somebody let me know what is the general procedure to transport such data source from DB connect.

Also I am not able to transport the infopackage , transfer rules etc.

Let me know if you have any idea.

Hi,

Make sure your source system is created in your Q and P environments. If they are. make sure they are mapped correctly.

In your Q and P systems, go to RSA1. On the Tools Menu Item, go to Mapping of the Source System Names and enter your DBConnect Source System Name (in Development) as your OrSrceSyst (Original Source System) and in Q, use the Q name for your DBConnect Source System. In P use, the P name for your DBConnect Source System.

Sometimes your DBConnect source systems are the same for all three clients. You still need to map them.

It is a different question.

I got this error after transportation.

In previous case I was unable to collect the object.
