Delete WBS Elements

Dear all,

I try to delete WBS Element and the system trigers this message:

The business transaction cannot be carried out.

and when i clicked the "status information" there was an error message tells that there is a Purchase Order still exists for this WBS element.

i deleted this Purchase Order and still the system gives me the same error message.

what should i do ???

Hi,

Set deletion flag to all the lower level elements and Purchase order items which are assigned to this particular WBS element using Edit>Status>set deletion flag

and then set deletion flag for this WBS element.

Hi Syarein,

1. Block the PO & set status TECO, & set deletion flag.

2. Lock account assignment category. Edit > Status > Lock > Account Assignment.

You made the PO against the said WBS element means Commitment posting is happened, whne you have any CO posting against WBS you can not delete the said WBS element. Even if you are doing reversal setting deletation flag system will not allow to delete the WBS element.
