Smartform text in different language is different

Hi,

In my smartform, the original language is EN, I have made certain changes in the program line and in the text element followed by it.

But when I am logging into the German login.

I can see my changes in the program lines but not in the text element.

Moreover when I go for changing the changing the form in German language by maintaining it in the original language i.e. EN, it shows my changes.

Can anyone suggest why is this happening and possibly the solution also.

Hi

Maintain translations for program lines from SE63-> Longtext-> SAP Script->SmartForms and give smart form name, source language and target language. Logon in the target language for maintaining translations.

Similarly, logon in the target language of translations and maintain translations for text elements, then these difference in language will not be seen

Hi,

you need to transport the changes made .

if you are mainting the form for different companies you need to maintain different standard texts or use se63 and need to transport all the texts in order to reflect the changes.

use scc1 Tcode for client copy to transport the changes.

This helps in translating the text to different language.
