Crystal REport Viewer 2008

Hi All,

I want to add the crystal report viewer 2008 as a reference in .net and through the coding i have to generate report using the report viewer 2008.How should i achieve this.

Hello Mohana,

Are you talking about (1) Crystal Report Viewer 2008, the Java-based stand-alone report viewer, (2) Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008, the embedded Crystal Report component that comes with Visual Studio 2008, or (3) Crystal Reports 2008, that comes with the Report Application Server SDK that has report modification features?

Hi Ted,

Iam talking about the first one.crystal report viewer,stand alone report viewer.through this we can open the saved report and view.But i want to use this report viewer as a control in .net and through the code i want to generate a report.Is this possible?

The Crystal Report Viewer currently has no integration components that come with it.
