But Iam able to login thru sap notepad with the same username and password.
I have checked the roles assigned to my usernmae in SU01
There were nealry 73 roles assigned to it.
Why Iam getting this error?

Hi,
check whether you have made an entry for the Host name & IP Address in the Hosts file in the following path u201CC:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc hostsu201D. If not make an entry.
Chk whether you have JRE 1.4.2 or higher.

If the Error is URL not found.
You try the URL with the IP address of the server instead of the hostname. also make sure your server is not behind firewalls, for that you can ping the server from your frontend.
If still it doesnt work then you need to check whether port you are giving is having correct instance.
like if the server is running on 03 instance the URL would be.
http://<ipaddress>:50300/rep/start/index.jsp
please check with these things.

Hi Naresh,
Check if the roles SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR_J2EE and SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE is assigned to your User ID to access IR/ID.
