No allocation for PM Orders/Notifications

Dear PM Experts,

Is there a place to configure the steps in the increment of the number for PM Order/Notificaiton?

Because for my customer, when they create PM Orders, numbers are allocated with the increment of 20. Eg. first no was 6000000 secend was 6000020 next was 6000040. The situation is the same for Notifications as well.

Cheers

Hi,

The note that explains number buffering is 62077.

See also this thread where the issue is discussed:

Deepal,

I seem to remember an OSS Note relating to buffering of number ranges.

I think it recommends that you don't change the standard settings..

Get your BASIS guys to check it out..

Hi Thyagarajan,

Thanks for the reply.

I checked the buffer and it's 20. But in our test client the numbers are assigned properly to PM Orders (with the increments of 1) despite the buffer is 20. So it can't only be an issue with the buffer, can it?

Cheers
