Hi Experts,

Can someone tell me the use of 'database tools' that comes along with the SAP POS (former TGM) Product suite and how can I get the username and password for it??

Hi,

You should be able to find some information about DBTOOLS in the Technical Reference Manual. Connecting to the database depends on the db engine you are using i.e. Sybase or Microsoft SQL.

If u are using Sybase, u can use the default login ID/password = dba/sql.

Hello All

The purpose of database tools is to apply SQL configuration scripts to the database. The password is the database password configured at the tome of installation..

The default mssql database user id and pwd are sa and 1 and dba sql for sybase
