Restrcit access- VA02- based on Sales Doc type

Hi Gurus,

Can we restrict access for VA02 based on Document type for some users.

we are have sales document types like ZOR & ZBR. i want to give the access for VA02 for ZBR, but i want to restrcit the access for ZBR to the users.

How can do this?

Dear Sumith

Basis people can restrict only the T.Code and not the document type. Since you want to include document type also in VA02, apply User-Exits in program MV45AFZB - USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK which can be used to carry out additional checks at header level in sale order.

You can also restrict Document types access by a particular T-Code...

Thru PCFG (Authorisations) you can restrict User for Document type, Plants, GL accounts etc...

Hi,

This you can do, discuss with your Basis administrators and create the roles as per your requirement. I hope we can include the document type as one of the criteria in authorizations.

If it is not possible you can restrict them, when ever there is a change in the sales order system need to block it, then concerned person only can release the document. Then users will need to explain why they changed the order,

am not aware of any standard SAP functionality to acheive this.. however, check the screen exit MV45AOZZ.( Include)--take help of a technical consultant to acheive your desired result.

Dear Sumith,

You can do so with Rights / Authorisation Management.

Go to T-Code: PFCG - Enter the Role assigned to your User ID or create a new Role...

In Menu Tab Assign the T-Code - VA02 - Go to Authorisations Tab Page - Click on Change Authorisation Data -

Expand the Standard Sales and Distribution menu - Expand the Standard - Sales Document: Authorization for Sales Document Types - Click on Change button on Sales Document Type menu & Assign the Document type for which you want to give rights to the users...

Save the profile & Assign it to User Id (if required...)

You will have to take help of your Basis Person to create Roles / Profiles & assigning it to User IDs...
