Postal Code effects in Company Code

Hi Pals,

My client want to change postal code for a particular company code so they want to know what are the effects in different Modules like , Fi/MM/CO/SD

Pls Suggest me the correct way.

do you mean postal code is PIN code, if so there will be no effect on any module.

there will be no effect if you change ZIP/PIN/Postal code as the case may be (in differenct countries different terminology).

But i wonder why do they want to change the ZIP/PIN/Postal code.....

The postal code or zip code only makes a difference when there is some taxation difference between two areas. If not then there is no effect.

For example, if u change the postal code in india within a state there will be no effect but if state will change then VAT will differ and all MM,FI,SD will have an effect
