Equipment Category Change !!

I want to change the equipment category of 100 equipments. Is it possible to do it after data uploading ?

hi

you can change the category for equipment ,provided it has the same reference category ie if you have created equipment categories with Z and P with reference category as M( machines then you can change from Z to P in the equipment master itself.

in the equipment change mode select from menu Edit>change category then you can specify your new category

Create a change upload program for IE02 and then update your required change as per above mentioned procedure.

Hello,

You may do it individually using IE02 rather than thinking for a masschange via program or a tool becasue there are only 100 numberas to change and a minimal change is required in the equipment master. If you have more amount of data you can think about developing a program or using a tool.

Yes you can change the equipment category even after creation of Equipments But you need to do it manually for individual equipment

Process is

Go to Equipment change through IE02.

Now go to EDIT in the menu and then change category.Now change the category as you require

For changing in mass , you can create a CATT Script for the same
