Abnormal price change in Material Master : Material with price control 'V'

Hi guru's,

I have a doubt: My material price value just suddenly change drastically. I've checked via MR21 and MM03, but no one seems to be making the price change. The movement done for the material : Purchase Order GR (101) and also Sales (601). Can someone explain this?

hi,

Price will change depending on the price differences in GR and IR....if the Price is constantly same..then will not cause the problem..

Pls check the PO, GR , IR price as compared to the V MAP price defined in MMR....in the accounting tab...

Example:

MMR MAP Price = 5.00 EUR

If IR price = 30 .00 Eur

This will cause the negative MAP..

If the price differs then the MAP also changes....

Can see the related data on sap help portal...

Hi,

Run the report MB5B for the particular material for the particular period and check the average from the amnt and qty. you can identify the odd entry which created the difference.

Most probably it might be due to a difference been adjusted during the MIRO

Hi All,

Manage to solve the problem. I viewed via MB5B and find out that there's wrong invoice posted and the cancelled document only posted on the previous date.
