how to check if the central service instance is running for Netweaver.

Hi All:

I want to log on netweaver ,but failed. some log file says that

• ERROR => Can't attach to message server (localhost/3604) [rc=-100]-> reconnect

so I want to check if the central instance running? would you please tell me how ?

Hi,

In your browser,Enter: http://<hostname>:50000, where <hostname> is the name of the computer in the network on which the J2EE Engine is installed.

If an error message is displayed, then consider the following:

*You could have used the wrong <host name>.

*The serveru2019s standard port for HTTP could have been changed.

*The basic configuration of the server could have been changed.

*Server error messages (such as the HTTP 404 or 500 errors) mean that the server is definitely active and basically functioning.
