You are not assigned to a role

Hi everyone,

I am trying to save a workbook into a Role. After opening the BEx Analyzer (3.5) I select Open --> Workbooks and then I mark one of my current workbooks. When I choose the SmartIcon "Enter in Role" I always receive a popup : You are not assigned to a role. Thats it.

I checked the trace in SU53 but there was no entry.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong in this case?

Hi,

You need below Access to Save workbook in role. For example: If you want to save the workbook in role ABC, Then you should have below access in system.

Transaction: PFCG

Objects: S_USER_AGR with ACTVT: 01,02,03,06

ACT_GROUP: ABC(Rolename)

S_USER_TCD with TCD: RRMX

and also the role in which you want to save the workbook should have RRMX in Menu. Here in our example Role ABC should have RRMX.

Hello,

You've to enter the role that you want to assign the workbook to your user ID.

Go to transaction su01 and insert the role you want to assign.

After that do the procedure you're just doing in BEx to assign the workbook to the role and there you go.
