Report Crystal created with Infoset Query SAP connection

I have created a report with Crystal Report XI R2 from an Infoset Query SAP.

I have obtained two behaviour different by execution of this report from client and from infoview.

Report Crystal's behaviour if launched from the client Crystal Report XI R2.

The selection criteria of the report are based on three fields SAP: Order of sale, delivery and Row-ID. If one of these three criteria is a wrong value (typing error value or non-existent values in SAP master data) report returns correctly the message "was not recovered any record" and the query ends immediately.

Report Crystal's behaviour if launched from Infoview.

When using the same report published on infoview, the behaviour is different: if you enter a wrong value for one of three parameters, rather than ending immediately, the report Crystal launches the query on SAP and the process remains "hung" for hours because the value entered is sought in the master data tables until the crystal report ending for u201Ctimeoutu201D but the sap query can remain hanging several hours and it create big problems for SAP machine.

Can you help me?

Elisa De Mattia.

Massimo,

I would recommend posting this issue in the BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration forum.
