Hello!
We have a computer with Office 2003. On this computer all parts of the BPC works except BPC for Excel. When the BPC for Excel starts, the following error message occurs:
Activex.microsoft.com / objects / ocget.dll
and excel shuts down and you are back to Launch Page. We have reinstalled Excel, but the problem persists. Is there anyone who has had the same problem?
Hi
COuld you try this.
Close all the windows.
Open Excel (without BPC)
click on "Log on".
Does it come with the same error message?
Did you try to decrease the Security macro settings of Excel?
Did you put your DNS in the trusted sites of internet explorer?
Hope this helps...

So what is the difference between this computer and the others you successfully installed BPC on?

Just a simple question; Was excel 2003 loaded before loading BPC Client?
Do you have more than one version of excel?
Was the BPC client ever loaded on this computer, (any version)?

Hi Daniel Svensson,
Before Install the BPC excel for client, you should pre-software such as: .net framework 1.1 after install the BPC excel client. If still get the same result. I give suggest you should do such as:
1. Login on your PC as administrator
2. copy file Xceedzip.dll to c:\program files\BPC\
3. register that dll to registry window using DOS using command regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\BPC\XceedZip.dll"
4. Open the MS.Excel again
I hope this suggest can help you.

Did you run the BPC client diagnostic before installing BPC for excel?
Did you try to reinstall BPC for office? You can uninstall BPC for excell through control panel/add remove programs.
Which version of SAP BPC are you using?
