New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) is probably the most important process for many companies, but also one of the least understood (and, perhaps, executed). Important because, as one will see, NPDI is responsible for the revenues and margins that a company can achieve and its ultimate value. It is the least well understood process because few companies assign a single individual to be responsible for the whole process. Instead, it is usually driven through a series of functional "Silos," causing delays to build up and, often, the original market requirements to get lost.

New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) is one of the most important business processes for a company in the manufacturing industry. However, it is not often done properly or smoothly - due to disconnected systems and process flows. This webcast explains how mySAP Business Suite and the new SAP xApps leverage their applications and SAP NetWeaver to fully support NPDI.
