How to select the first value from a list of values?

Hi all,

scenario is :

when I select "from date" , "to date" and the "employee name" from a list of employees in a drop down button.(I have done it)

then I get a list of data about the employee is shown.(i have done it.)

i want to insert a line saying " below is the task data of : "selected employee " above the output.

How do i do that?

Can you explain in detail.

The drop down list contains various names of persons. When i select a name then i get the output about that person i selected.

Now i want to display the one which i select.

ex: sam

rosa

ram

they are in a drop down list.

when i select ram i get the details about ram in the output table view. Now i want just the name of ram to be displayed before the output table..

ex.

Below are the details of "RAM"

where you want to display this info.

on the Table Tool bar or above the table as Plain Text ?

Hi,

we can do that using a "data store " connector.

1. we can drag from the outport of the input form and save the @name field in the data store and map the values.

2. And use this value later .
