field selection for Variance Key

Hi

i want to make field selction of Variance Key in Costing 1 view as optional.

i went to field selection group 40 and went to maintain field selection for data screens and made optional for mm01, and my material type zpac.

but again in mm01 this Variance Key field is not appearing in costing view 1

Please help me what went wrong and what are the other checks to be done

hi

IN field selection for material.

In that select the field(variance key of costing) you want to amke option then assign it a field selection group.(40).

In that field selection group make field ref as optional.
