PO PRINT OUT DIFFICULTIES

Dear SAP MMIANS,

Here i a facing problem while po print out . in material master creation we have given description for the said material in purchase order text. but it is not appearing in po print out.bcs it is important to vendor know the details of item.

ex; we create a LAMP as material the description of this lamp i.e brand , type, voltage , wattage be mentioned in purchasing text in material master . but it is not appearing in po print out .

Hi,

Check the followings

SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Purchase Order-Text for Purchase Order-Define Copying rules for item Texts.

Here against Material PO Text click on Text Linkage and see whether in the "Fix" colomn is blank(Text is adopted in target object)

If not set accordingly and check the print out.

First go to Purchase Order Display ME23N and in Purchase order Item Detail Texts Tab Check Whether Material PO Text is Appearing and Revert back.

HI, YES IT IS COMING IN PO ITEM DETAIL OF TEXT OF UNDER MATERIAL PO TEXT. KINDLY GIVE SOL FOR THIS,

If the Material Text is appearing in Purchase order item detail tab and not coming in po means it is Smartform problem. Function Module READ_TEXT is used to Read the text.

Please Communicate your abaper, Meanwhile post the same thread in Abap forum and in case doubts Revert back.

Pls check whether there is NO MATERIAL TEXT indicator selected in the PIR for Vendor/Mtrl combination...

Due to this mostly it happens,...
