Hi,

How to post the scrap raw material,generated during production operation.

plz advise the steps during time ticket confirmation.

Hi,

To post scrap for raw material if it is planned, you can use operation scrap, component scrap or assembly scrap %. So system will automatically do scrap posting.

If it is unplanned do goods mvt by MB1B 311 from issue str location to rejection str location. And then do 551 mvt to do scrap.

You can not post scrap in CO11N screen.

i want to post some components partial quantity as a scrap when i click on goods movement in co11N .

Hi,

For post ur scrap u have to define one material and assign it in BOM with -ve quantity

so at the time of goods issue u can reciept the scrap with 531 movements

Hi,

Scrap field in Confirmation refers to Finished product scrap, not for component scrapped during production.

Once you have entered scrap in CO11N no material movements are automatically posted in the system. By confirming scrap you are only reducing the balance confirmable qty in the order.

U can post component scrap as byproduct using 531 movement type if u want ot reuse the scrap.
