Hi Friends,
Unnecessary entries are getting created in SALRT and SALRTRECPT table which is consuming a huge amount of memory on the server.(These tables Belong to Alert)
I had run report RSALERTPROC. But it didn't work.
Any workaround.
Thanks

These tables are used by alert framework and gets an entry whenever an alert is created. I am assuming you are facing this situation in XI and there are no custom programs that trigger alerts in your system. With this assumption, I suggest you to check the alert rules maintained in the runtime workbench. Look for alerts that are configured with "Suppress multiple Alerts" unchecked. These are the once that might be filling up your alert table.

Hello
I see, you tried to run RSALERTPROC already to delete old entries. Did you choose to delete only 'Confirmed' alerts. If you did so, then only alerts that have been confirmed by the user will be deleted. If you are sure to delete the alert entries irrespective of having been confirmed by the users, remove the 'Confirmed Alerts' option.
Thanks
KK
