JCONTROL not starting

Hi

Jcontrol is not starting in Our XI system AFTER STARTING THE INSTANCE USING STARTSAP.

We have to start the jcontrol from the command line using jcontrol pf=/usr/sap/../D*/SYS/profile.

This only starts dispatcher and server but not sdm

Can anyone help me with the cause and solution of this ?

Hi,

Check the default trace and the log file in the server..

and try to see whether the componenents of the visual admin is configured with its pre and post installation steps..

Check the default trace.

H:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\defaultTrace.0.trc
