Manual lot

dear all

i want to create a manual lot.how can i assign an inspection plan to that lot other than that plan which automatically assigns when lot is created automatically.i mean i want to assign a plan which i wish.so is it possible or it will pick the same plan whose usage is linked to that lot origin(insp. type)

hi

from QA01 t-code you can create manual lot. and if thetask list dosn't want to assign to the lot auto matically , then in MM02 material master in QM view you need to remove tick for the field AUTOMACTIC ASSIGNMENT.

thankyou so much,ur answer helps me a lot but lot is still in CRTD mode but for its further processing it should be released.how can i release a lot

Hi Ahmad,

Run trx QA02.

Enter the lot number.

in the inspection specification tab

click on the task list/ sepc. button

then on the sample button in the Sample Tab.

Then save.

if the task list will be there in the system for the material the lot will get released.

Hy Ahmed,

For this you have to remove tick Automatic Assignment of Inspection plan in Material Master itself (MM02).Go to QM view and select Inspection type and remove tick from Automatic Assignment.
