I have seen that a "fix pack 2" has just been released for CR 2008...

what's inside ??

where can I find a release note for this fix pack ?

Sorry but this is not the point to my question...

I know where to donwload it...

What I need to know is "what are the issues solved with this fix pack" ?

I have open cases with the "old" BO Support, so I have ADAPT numbers for my cases for which I am waiting for patches from Developement....

So I need to know which issues are solved with each patch... thanks !

Can not find any resources that are telling me which issues are fixed either.

Hi

I would like to inform you that when you download the FP 2, there is one "Read me"document.In this document all information about ADAPT is mentioned.If the particular ADAPT is fixed in that FP then surly there will be related information

I downloaded the FP2 yesterday and installed it and could not find the 'Read Me' document.

If you could please tell me where I could find the document I would really appreciate it.

When you download the fix pack there is only the EXE file... and inside of it (self-extractible exe) no readme file either...

Hi

When you download the particular FP you will get 2 options.

1)Open

2)Save.

If you will click on Open option it will start executing.

When you will click on save all the related information will be saved on your local drive.From there you can get "read me" document.

I am sorry but ABSOLUTELY NOT !!

If I click on the FP2 and choose "Save", it only saves a file named "cr2008_fp2.exe" which is a sel-extractible archive...

inside thas archive are

in the root :

Package Directory

ProductID.txt

setup.exe

setup.ini

In the Package Directory :

Langs Directory

CrystalReports.msp

In the Langs Directory

a Directory for each language, each one containing

CrystalReportLanguage2Letters.msp

setup.exe

setup.ini

So I really am sorry, BUT THERE IS NO README FILE !!!!!
