Dear SAPians,
What are USER EXITS?? Please explain in detail or can you provide me some litrature about it so that i can make myself comfortable.

User Exits are a Program which are call certain Function modules during Certain Transactions.This modules are developed only by certified Abapers.In case of Business requirements like certain checks which are not readily available in std. SAP , in that case SAP has Provided a certain space (Include) in this User Exit.

Hi,
User exits (Function module exits) are exits developed by SAP. The exit is implementerd as a call to a functionmodule. The code for the function module is writeen by the developer.
If you know the Exit name, go to transaction CMOD.
Choose menu Utillities->SAP Enhancements. Enter the exit name and press enter.
You will now come to a screen that shows the function module exits for the exit.
