How to config Check Digits function module for Student Number Validation

In the SAP-SLCM, How to use check digits function module for validate student number. Just only config it or need to customizing program.

*Any idea to student number validation in SLCM?*

You configure the St. no in piq_matr . And set it as external or internal no. range which suits your business .

What is the validation you are looking for ?

Hi Gajalakshmi,

What we are looking for a check digit for student number. Basically, check digit is the last digit of student number and will be used to prevent mistyping from user.

For example, 500089374 which 4 is check digt for 50008937.

Hi Suvatchai,

If you set it as internal number , this might not allow the user to type numbers while creating the student .

For specific requirements , you can use badi :

HRPIQGB_ST_NUMBER for additional functionalities .
