posting error

hi experts

while iam posting the goodsmovement through mb1c with mvment type ,this error,iam getting

Deficit of ST loc unrestricted use 9.00 tones materail XXXX plant 2i/pi

i have changed qty for posting same error is coming ,the reservation qty is 25 tones ,i posted 25,30 50 15.... the same error iam getting

plz help me out

Dear Karthik,

"Deficit of ST loc unrestricted use 9.00 tones materail XXXX plant 2i/pi" means there's no sufficient stock of

the material in that particular storage location.

First check what's the stock available for that material in that particular storage location through T code

MMBE by entering the material part no and plant and storage location.

Then eneter a quantity which's is eaual or less than the available stock so that you can carry out the

MB1C transaction successfully.

stock was zero before i did posting ,but i want to maintain stock ,for that only iam posting ,but it is not allowing ,i tried with various qty ,less than and greater than 9 tqty

561 movement type iam using

Okay,

With 561 mov type system should not give this error as 561 is GR with out reference. hence system will not check the stock before posting

Do you have -ve stock activated for this material in plant and storage loc? check in material master plant/storage loc -1 view.

Hi,

Ypu will get movement type in OMJJ and OMWN transaction codes.

Go to MR51 trx..there you can see the accounting documents for material.

Dear,

In the storage location and plant the qty available is 9 less than what you hace entered in goods movement, hence you enter the qty in good movement 9 less than what you have enetered, then system will not give any error.

Here reservation is not important, only what is available in inventory is very important
