significance of send with application own transaction in output control

hi all,

can anyone explain me when do i select the dispatch time in further data of a message as 'send with application own transcation' and whwn i do select 'send with periodically scheduled job'..

what is the difference between the options 'send with application own transaction' and 'send with periodically scheduled job'...................

From what I saw in another forum, this (Send with application own transaction) means that you need to use another transaction to send the output to the printer. In case of invoice, it would be VF31.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi,

Use Send immediately instead of 'send with periodically scheduled job'.

Send immediately (when saving the application)

Hi

Check this forum-

'send with periodically scheduled job' - In this case output type will not be triggered immediately from application, document like Quotation or Invoice, once changed and saved. You need to explicity collect all these output types which are not triggered and process the output types explicitly calling RASNAST00 program
