back up data

hello

I would like to know if there is a way to do back up in the XI?

I know I can do Export to file, and then reload it, and in the History I can see all the latest changes that been done and when.

when I say back up I mean for example if I want to do roll back to an older version if I can do it and how?

or to compare to versions and to know what were the changes between the two?

(just like Perforce, Source safe and other)

is there other ways to back up data?

Yes there is are ways,

One you already know that is exporting and importing ,

other than that backup can be at database level where all the development would be backed up by a basis person.
