price group,

Hi Balaji,

You might have studied both Price Group & Price List are used to apply the same pricing to the customers.

Steps are as follows:

1. select the customers for whom u want to apply the same pricing and assign the values in Price Group & Price List fields eg: bulk buyer & wholesale customer in customer master

2. Create the condition table by using the same fields

3.Maintain condition records accordingly.

now raise the sales order or the customers for whom u maitained these fields u will observe both will be priced same.

Hi,

The use of both is two fold.

When you maintain data in these two fields in customer master, the data flows in your document processing.

1) If you have some pricing reuirement to offer special price to some customers, you can use these feilds to maintain master records.

2) you can use these for analysis purpose: what business was done to customers having these price list or price group.
