Connecting SAP PI and Delta V - OPC. Is it possible?

Hi,

I need to connect SAP PI 7.0 SPS 12 with a DELTA V Database, they only are available to connect through a OPC protocol, What are my options in this case?

I know that exists SAP ODA (SAP OPC for Data Access), but I wondering if I can use SAP PI instead SAP ODA. We donu2019t have SAP ODA license.

So, the first thing that crosses my mind was a Java Proxy Server. But, How do I get connect with this database?

SAP ODA is a software available in the Service Market place for download. I do not think it requires license to execute. You can use it to connect it to OPC Servers.
