how to restrict a delivery untill PGI

how can a delivery be restricted or blocked untill the PGI is done

Hi

Your scenario is quite possible for blocking the PGI

But u need to activate the credit check and Block at PGI Level

Transaction OVAD then the blocked PGI need to release then you can do the PGI

This will allow you to create the delivery but not allow you to do the PGI

Hi there,

Standard SAP offers only delivery & billing blocks. Blocking PGI or picking is not possible.

Pls clarify us why do you want to create the delivery & then block pick, pack & PGI? If you want to block them set the delivery block itself sothat you will not be even able to create delivery.

Ask your business why they want to create delivery & then block PGI.

Hi,

you can have delivery block at vov8 i.e document level-delivery block other wise you can go to ovls t-code you can define your own blocking reasons.And even block at shedule line level I.e vov6 level.

Default delivery block

Specifies a delivery block that the system applies automatically during processing.

You can specify a delivery block for any of the following:

Sales document type

Schedule line category

Delivery type

Shipping activity, such as picking and goods issue

Example

You can specify a delivery block, for example, for all free of charge deliveries. These documents then have to be approved before further processing can take place.
