Managing BW SAP WEB Application Server

Hi everyone!

Is there way that I can managed WAS using Web browser? I just to want check the configuration but it requires me a username and password. Below is the URL that i'm accessing:

http://bwserv:8000

you have to supply SAP user id and password.

what configuration you want to see? if you are on WAS6.40 using integrated ITS you can see any SAP transaction from browser.

Hi, thanks for your update. I just wan't to know if there's a way that I could monitor those who are accessing BEx either from SAPgui or thru WEB because currently were experiencing a problem on our BW WAS wherein there are certain times that we encounter a timeout thus causing our WEB templates not be displayed. So, what we're doing as of to resolve this si to restart our BWserver and after that everything is normal again.

you can check from transaction SM04

if the system is accessed from web the access type will be <b>Plugin HTTP</b> and if its from Bex analyzer it will be type RFC
