Hi,
We are doing production in Batches.
We want to give the expiry date to them and should be monitotring it by system. And also inspection lot should be generated after crossing the expiry date.
Please explain me how do i map it in SAP.
Thanks in advance,
Vishal

Thanks for ur valuable reply,
I have done the following steps for it ,
1) Material GR after production,
2) In mm02 assign insp. type 09
3 QA05 variant define for recurring insp. lot generation. before it i have mentioned insp. interval in mm02 qm view.
4) QP01 Plan already created.
5) QA05 - Here i scheduled and release the job periodicaly for e.g 1 day.
6) go for QA07 deadline monitoring,
here i put the material, Plant, Batch, select redio button - lot creation only, ticked on block batch.
now please tell me when i have to
see inpection lot in qa32. after 1 day it will generates autometically or what? Pls guid me !
Rgds,
Vishal
Yes It will generate the lot automatically, if you have defined the job perfectly.
Now to monitor the lot you can extract the number through QA32 or run trx QA07L to monitor the job.
But I think the steps below mentioned by you indicates something is missing. So check.
While you defined the variant did it lead you to QA07 where you have defined the parameters?
What is the status of the lot Scheduled or Released?

What is the time you have defined in the batch if you have defined it as 00:00:00 then it will run at mid night and if you have defined the job today itself then wait for mid night.
But if you to test the data then in testing server run QA07 manually to check the lay out parameters.
Best Of luck

Shyamal
