Resume Import Abap Phase during installlation of sap nw 04s with RHEL5

hi

i try to install sap nw 04s IDES with oracle 10g in Redhat linux4 environment.

During Import Abap Phase, i got power down so my sys was shutdown.

When i try to resume the IMPORT ABAP PHASE, i got errors:

Hi Raghu,

this error occurs in case of deficiancy memory.

Increase the SwapSpace and try to reinstall.

Dear Raghu,

Please try the following steps:

1. Restart the installation from same point.

2. Check the enviroment variable is set properly.

3. check if u can use sqlplus "/as sysdba" command without any problem.

I think the problem is with the Enviroment variable either ORACLE_HOME ,ORALCE_SID or some other variable is not properly set.

Hi Raghu

I will suggest you to reinstall from the scratch again, the installation might be in inconsistent state, though it may get installed but might give you other issues.

Anyway, please paste the SAPAPPL2.log contents.
