Estimating costs to implement Solution Manager

We are looking for some validation for cost, resource and time to implement Sol Man - our scope will be limited to Document Repository, Customizing sync, Business Process Monitoring, Sevice Level Reporting and BI Reporting. Can anyone provide some general guidelines on cost, skill mix and duration to implement this scope? Thanks

Hello Mary,

I can only speak for Business Process Monitoring. If it is just for the proof of concept for 1-2 business processes it is a matter of days, i.e. 2-4 days for someone experienced. If you are completely new to the topic it might take you 2-3 weeks depending if you already know what you would like to monitor.

If you are really thinking of a full-blown BPMon implementation which usually needs adjustment in the Support Organization it is a different story. This can easily take half a year or year for a big organization.
