Portal Account Locked with valid userid and password

Hello Portal Gurus,

We were able to logging to Portal fine with the same userid and password for the last eight months, all of the sudden we are getting Account Locked with a valid user&pw. But when we went in and checked, the user account was not locked. We then decided to unlock it anyways, and it works, but once the we logged out and come back in again, we the facing the same error message u201CAccount Lockedu201D. We have no idea what is causing this issue...

Any help would greatly appreciated,

Does it lock all the users or specific.

If it locks all the users,how do you login?

Hi Amit,

Only this particular user is locked. Other users logged in fine.

Hello. You need to check defaulttrace.trc log and security log in Visual administratr (log Viewer). Try to find information why this user get locked, may be this user are specyfied on some RFC or JCO ? Try to chek logs.

Thanks again guys.. For your information, the SAP Logon Ticket in EP was expired. I recreated and added a new ticket to strustsso2 on all of the backend systems that talk to EP.
