Can anybody tell me as how the following classification fields in customer master ECC will be useful in GTS screening

1. Biological Welfare

2. Nuclear Nonproliferation

3. national Security

4. Missile Technology

Hi Kiran,

Like Customer Master in ECC, Usage indicator Field is also available in GTS Business Partner.

In GTS:

T- Code: BP > BP role: SLLCPC > Customs and Foreign Trade Tab > Usage and Military/Civil Use

But there is no communiction happening for these fields between ECC and GTS for Military/Civilian Usage.

If this field is manually maintained in License Master like '1'- Mainly Civilian Usage, then it does check this data at the time of license determination. So if the License Master is maintained only for " Mainly Civilian Usage" and in BP, the usage indicator in '2'- Mainly Military Usage, then relevant License would not be determined.

Limitation :- No link between R/3 and GTS to update Usage Indicator, even manual transfer of customer from R/3 to GTS does not update this field.

The attributes of Military/Civilian use i.e;

1. Biological Welfare

2. Nuclear Nonproliferation

3. national Security

4. Missile Technology

does not play any role in screening. These are just an addditional characteristic for classifying sensitive material & customers like "National Secuirty" . It does not impact License determination.
