RFC Connection Error (for end-to-end Monitoring)

Hi,

I am configure End-to-End monitoring in XI 3.0 SP20, PMI does't show data in end-to-end monitoring... anyway!!! I check RFC connection PMI

RFC destination name: PMIXQA90020080827

in TEST connection I am getting an error: "Group PUBLIC not Found" where may I define that PUBLIC to solve this problem please let me know.... thanks

and what is Group PUBLIC in RFC ??? what does it do???

Is there any notes I can read for related issue, please help me out this

Hi,

Please check whether the IP mentioned is correct or check whether the Logon information is correct.

Yes, IP address is ok, even I tried hostname as well, as you look at it screenshot, getting an error: Group: PUBLIC does not found

what does it mein that? do i need to create some group for PUBLIC ???? it out of my mind

XIRWBUSER I am not sure what is password! its not dialog user its service user

do you have some other idea please reply me

Hi,

I hope check the target system settings load balancing as NO.

Now you mention the IP or Host . I think it automatically picks the group once you mention the Host name or IP.

YES, you are right

I treid SMLG its shows logon group empty nothing there...

Instance name shows there

and status is GREEN

nothing else...

when I double click on it.... it asking me group name... I am not sure should I put group public ?

Hi,

Have you checked the load balancing as No then it wont ask for group.

Sorry, I didn't check that... could you please tell me how to do that ??? and what I suppose to check there ?

but, in SMLG (CCMS Maintain Logon Groups) was empty as i told you before, I simple put logon group "PUBLIC" and test connection again now its does working fine... now error

after that then I goto RWB through web, and click end-to-end monitoring getting an Java error, the group I added does it efect some where ???

please advised

PROBLEM IS RESOLVED!

SIMPLE GOTO SMLG AND ADD GROUP (PUBLIC)

RFC CONNECTION WORKS FINE...
