Assigning F4 help in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY

Hi All,

Is it possible to provide F4 help to a editable field when using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY or

REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY?If yes,please let me know

if the Check table or value table available for the Field then you get automatically.

and also when you are populating the fieldcatalog use Reference field and Reference table. so that it gets the F4 help from the Reffield.

The mentioned F4 help is required for a custom field of a custom table in a ALV .I have also created a search help,and I can see the F4 help in the data selection screen of the table.in the ALV i have used reftable and ref field in the the fieldcatalog,yet am not able to see the F4 help.any idea why this is happening?

I tried with LVC function it is working fine. I hope you attached the search help to the Database level. if that is the case you can get the F4 help using the Function LVC.

I created a table with a filedcalled test. and i created a seach help also and attached to the TEST field at Database level.

imoprtant if it is not there then you will not get the F4 help option.

Custom Search help is also working fine in 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.

we can assign values in domain level / create a custom search help assign to required field.
