Thanks all alot for your efforts. However, I have solved it by myself. However, I have given points.

SOLUTION: I have UnInstalled Oracle and re-Installed it. There after applied patch. Then run a fresh NW installation. It got through.

Hmm, 10G and patch 1, this not supported for SAP, you need to patch to 10.2.0.2 at minimum. Also minimum SWAP are 20 GB (recomended 20 GB + 1*RAM). Regards.

Hi Faisal,

Put last few lines of sapinst.log here.

Kindly look at the database alert.log in /saptrace/background to analyze.

or

Just check the patchset note for any needed post installation

tasks.

I think installing the patch set would help.

Hi Faisal

As per SAP Note 636475 - Secondary Oracle error codes, the error code you're getting is secondary and can be ignored.

Solution

Example, In the case of the ORA-01092 error, you must find a preceding ORA-01091 or less than that.

Please let us know the preceding ORA error. Anything that came before or after ORA-01092. Check in the alert log file.

Hi,

Try DB start with UPGRADE option which

is needed for running any post install scripts.

See if it solves the problem.

This solution worked for me, when installing SAP EHP4 in Linus SuSE SLES 11 SP2.

I did the following steps:

1. Started GONOME terminal and entered the commands:

> su orasob

> cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin

> sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL> startup upgrade
